A CIDA match 4 to 1 project to help develop food security to 500 families with seeds, fruit trees and agricultural training. Included is a water sand dam project that will affect 1000 families. These two projects aim to increase the availability of water for crop production and household use, increase food security conserve and improve the surrounding environment. This project is in the Guro district of the Manica province in Mozambique. This is the first year of a three-year project for MCC, the Canadian Foodgrains Bank and the Mozambique Govt. We’re joining in for the 2009 Rice Raiser Campaign.
For every $1 we raise, it will be matched with $4!
